Quite a Cold Christmas Eve Row

2022's Christmas Eve Row was a chilly, windy one, but 13 brave souls greeted an 18 degree morning with a wind chill registering -5 degrees for the 28th annual gathering.

With white caps and 40 mph wind gusts MRA went to plan B; pose on the new Gangway Ramps delivered the day before at 3 pm and then go inside the B. Willliams Store and eat cookies. The ramps, needed to complete MRA's Boathouse Floating Dock project, were ordered in August and finally arrived from Florida after two major flooding hurricanes and other setbacks. They will be installed in place by ChopTech Marine Services, owned by Jason Podd, a Mathews High School and Rowing alum.
